IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE END??

Hello Fellow gamers,

EA has announced that they are cutting their prices for their games to help with the sagging sales. Black and Godfather will be $40.00 instead of the "normal" $50.00. In my opinion I feel this could be the start of the gaming crash that happened in the 80's. The market is so saturated with games that the economy can't support this for long and price reduction is a smart move for EA as well as for other publishers. Here are my reasons for studios to take notice:

1. Why pay extra for the same game for your Xbox 360 with no difference in gameplay
2. Sequels are killing the community with boredom "been there done that"
3. Why have your games come out during the holidays.. spread it out through the year how many games can we play in 2 weeks anyway??
4. A gamer can not take chances on other games that they would like to try due to price BRING OUT DEMOS
5. Having to pay over a $150.00 a year to play World Of Warcraft you must play that one only dont ya??
