Review: Rogue Trooper

Hello fellow Nort killers,
I really didn't have high hopes for this game and to my surprise it was actually a pretty good game overall. I have never read the comic books so I can only judge the game. I was initially going to say that this game is very easy and if you have a little one who is starting to get into PC games this would be a real confidence booster until you get to the ending of the game. The ending of the game took my about 45 attempts to beat this S.O.B!! I can't believe that this ending made it past Q.A.? If your kid doesn't swear yet he or she will after playing the ending of this one guaranteed:) I am not one to care if you have a hard ending but let me save anywhere ok? The biggest dissapointment to me was the ending after you went through something that made storming Normandy in Call of Duty 2 look like nothing WTF!!!! Rebellion did a decent job on this game but I would have to say that $20.00 would be the right price for this title.


Pros

1. Graphics and sound are good (for the budget that was allocated)
2. presentation is good
3. no glitches were noticable
4. It was fun shooting the Norts and blowing up their air tanks
5. Nice sequences of shooting other weapons which I would have to say came off better than in Quake 4.
6. Nice game for little Twitch fraggy to get into PC gaming


Cons
1. A.I. is non existent until at the end of the game.. The best way that I can describe the ending is imagine yourself being a fish and you have 30 guys shooting at you while you are in a barrel! Sounds fun eh???
2. No Quick Saves.. man could you use it at the end of this one
3. What a shitty ending after going through all that hell...
4. Nice game for little Twitch Fraggy to learn the meaning of "WTF" playing the ending!!!
