It is hard to believe that we are already in August but the gaming bliss is going to start fairly soon! Last year (October 18 was the day) we PC boys got Quake 4 and F.E.A.R. on the same day but this will be topped by this year! Look at this releases for October...
10/17 Splinter Cell double agent, NeverWinter Nights 2
10/24 F.E.A.R. extraction point, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
10/26 Guild Wars: Nightfall
as you can see very strong PC games for October:)
Just read an article that the makers of the game Too Human is going to stop using the Unreal 3 Engine for their Xbox 360 game because it is very hard to develop for the Xbox 360?! This news has really put a damper on the release of Gears of War for me because I wonder if it is going to be choppy etc?? Why they just don't release this the same time on PC is beyond me! Mark Rein from Epic games typed in the G.O.W. forums that a big announcement was coming soon. I posted the following...
"Mark, I hope the big news is that you are going to release it on the PC the same time as the XBOX 360 since you and I both know that the 360 is nothing more than a calculator compared to us hardcore PC boys:)"
