Hey Bethesda! Thanks for ruining my record of completed games in a year:(

Hello fellow gamers,
I picked up The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and I wanted to give you my first impression of the game. I was on finishing my 10th game until I put this game on my machine. I played for 3 hours and it felt like 5 minutes:)

I bought the collectors edition and I have to say that I am very impressed with the presentation. I would have to say that this is one of the best editions I have seen besides the NeverWinter Nights Collectors Edition. What do I think of the game so far? READ ON

I am running the game Maxed out and at 1600x1200. Once again I have chosen to not run HDR and prefer to have the AF decked out! You start the game in a dungeon, then sewers, and then OUTSIDE! I know that being outside would be the moment of truth for my BFG and it is running the game like it was nothing:) There is no slowdown for me at all and my character runs all the time. The one thing that I do notice on their engine is that there is indeed a lot of "Popups" when moving through the forest. I am willing to "forgive" this due to the world being over 17 miles long! Seeing the deer move in a forest is just incredible to say the least! My character is a barbarian who I will be working on to become a Vampire. I think this could be the game that Vampire Bloodlines should've been. WHATS BETTER THAN BEING A VAMPIRE AND A BARBARIAN AT THE SAME TIME???? The fighting system reminds me of Diablo but in first person. It really "feels" like you are really there taking on these enemies! I LOVE THIS GAME AND IT HAS SET THE STANDARD FOR RPG'S! Hell, this game almost made me forget about PREY coming out!
