Do you finish the games you start?
Hello fellow gamers,
It was very interesting to read the reasons why Valve went to episodic content. The first reason being product can be delivered in shorter cycles and we won't have to wait as long and they also claim that most gamers don't finish their games. I can honestly say in the past that I was guilty of doing this myself. I would buy a game "just to buy a game". I would come home throw it on my hardrive, play for a couple of hours, and let it sit. Now since I "live" playing games on my Alienware it gets to a point where now I need quantity instead of AAA quality! I really view games differently now than what I used to! When I review a game it comes down to certain factors such as the following:
1. How much did I pay for the game and how many hours I got out of it? (Bang for my Buck) ex- Oblivion 70 hours of gaming for $70 = one dollar an hour what a freakin bargain!!
2. Is the game really entertaining or is it just a frustrating P.O.S. (The Thing and Jedi Outcast comes to mind)
As gamers we all have the right to do whatever we want after we give our hard earned cash but make sure you get the most out of your games ok?? Or just send them to me and I will play them for you and save the ending credits for ya:)*
until next time..
LORD NATAS
* Don't laugh.. as you know people on MMO's pay for gold, characters, etc. caus' they are too lazy to do the grunt work themselves! You buy the game and I'll knock it out for your lazy ass:)
