Review: Sin Episodes Emergence

Hello fellow Blades,
I decided to pick this up because I wanted a quick FPS fix but never did I expect it to only be 3 hours long! DeathofU and Azrael can assure you that I am a gamer who is just full of passion but ironicly it never really showed up playing this game. The whole time I was playing Emergence I felt like I was connecting the dots and just was going through the motions. I never played the original SIN but the characters are neat and Elexis is one hot meanie who I would love to get together and have some "hot coffee":)
I really can't recommend gamers paying $20 for this BUT I feel it would be worth it if you got the soundtrack and the background when the ending credits start rolling as a screensaver because it would be awesome to have.
The first gun you get in this game is really all you need until you're later into the game. It is not a gun but in my opinion is a railgun that is so accurate that you don't even need to zoom in. I just went for headshots in this game and I admit I never got bored seeing the enemies heads flying off! The best part of this game is actually after the credits and they start doing outakes that reminded me of what Pixar does with their movies. I really got a kick out of it and it made me feel a little better picking up this game. I would recommend that gamers wait until it comes down in price and then it would be worth knocking it out!


Pros
1. Characters are neat and Elexis looks great in her swimsuit:)
2. The game is using Valve's source code so you know it looks.. great!
3. The soundtrack is really cool
4. It really has a lot of swearing in it!!
5. Jessica is a real cool partner to have as long as she stays out of my way!
6. I love headshots ( I felt like the headless horseman looking for heads)
7. Presentation is nice throughout the games credits etc.

Cons
1. way too short for the money, it is over before you know it
2. FPS 101 is now in session
3. First gun is way too accurate and powerful
4. Could I have a rocket launcher for the ending battle?
