Demo Review: Condemned Criminal Origins

Just got done playing the demo and it was awesome to say the least! As you know I was a little worried about the port over to PC from the XBOX360 but not anymore. I am happy to report that this game is gonna kick some major ass! The characters look great and the A.I. of the characters really make them act insanely! Monolith has another hit on their hands and they now have in my opinion given the scarest demos I have played in my life! I don't want to ruin the demo for our readers, but man did I get the sh#@ scared outta me:) Congrats to Monolith for another successful game and I will be looking forward to April 11 to get this game and pound it out!

You really need to watch this HD trailer, but to get the best effect wait until it fully downloads THEN WATCH AND BE AMAZED!! I will say this once and only once.. PC gaming rules this world and consoles have no chance in Hell to match the POWER!! You will have to wait for XBOX 2010 to play this baby:)

Serious Review: Serious Sam 2 =Serious F#@$ing fun!

Hello Serious Gamers,
I just got done kicking Mental's ass! It has been a serious ride and pleasure to crank out this game! I need to start out by saying a couple of things first about my experience with this game. When this game came out I started playing it and I have to be honest with you that I really didn't care for how it was running and I thought that the quick save and quick load did not work. As you know I seriously hate backtracking in a game and if this function did work properly before the new patch CroTeam please except my apology! This game was not even on my hardrive and then a great thing happened.

I was starting to play Guild Wars with Azrael and Almosthuman and the server was down. I stated well lets play something and they really didn't feel like playing Quake 4 (this is a serious understatement by the way) so they said how about Serious Sam 2 co-op. So I loaded the game and before we got to co-op Guild Wars server was back up so we didn't play. So, I decided to give the game another chance and to see if the game ran smoother with my serious BFG MOFO! OOOHHH YYYEAAAAAHHHH BABBBBBYYY!!!!!

I got into the game big time and then I deciced to play it on Hard Mode to punish myself for giving up on this game. I never thought that I would enjoy a game like this more than PainKiller but I really do love this game big time. I had an excellent time playing this game and for $30.00 (now 20.00) you can't beat the quality! I had one of the greatest moments of my gaming career happen while I was playing this game. I got to right before you go see the "KING" and was really low on ammo, the only thing I had was the sawblade and dual pistols everything else was gone. Now I had to kill one of the big guys that was half demon and half tank, so I kept shooting him with these pistols for like 30 minutes. Keep in your mind also that I had only 2 health and this guy is throwing some serious rockets up my ass:) I said f#@$ it and worked my way behind him and bitch slapped him with my sawblade!! That was the coolest thing I have ever done in a game!!! Boy this is one serious game and now I will rest the next few days because this game take a lot out of ya:)
Pick this game up and have a blast of a lifetime!! CROTEAM YOU RULE BOYS!!

Pros
1. Graphics are excellent.. nice engine boys!
2. I loved the humor
3. All the weapons where needed and cool to shoot
4. When it came to bosses the woman always let you know how to beat them
5. Bosses were seriously fun and HUGE
6. Quick load and Quick save worked awesome (make sure u get patch)
7. Price is seriously excellent for this caliber of a game!!
8. The Hell part was done totally awesome dude:)
9. What an ending battle!!!

Cons
1. Would've like to see some different enemies (especially when your killing an average of 200-300 a wave)
2. SPOILER SO DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW

I picked up The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and I wanted to give you my first impression of the game. I was on finishing my 10th game until I put this game on my machine. I played for 3 hours and it felt like 5 minutes:)

I bought the collectors edition and I have to say that I am very impressed with the presentation. I would have to say that this is one of the best editions I have seen besides the NeverWinter Nights Collectors Edition. What do I think of the game so far? READ ON

I am running the game Maxed out and at 1600x1200. Once again I have chosen to not run HDR and prefer to have the AF decked out! You start the game in a dungeon, then sewers, and then OUTSIDE! I know that being outside would be the moment of truth for my BFG and it is running the game like it was nothing:) There is no slowdown for me at all and my character runs all the time. The one thing that I do notice on their engine is that there is indeed a lot of "Popups" when moving through the forest. I am willing to "forgive" this due to the world being over 17 miles long! Seeing the deer move in a forest is just incredible to say the least! My character is a barbarian who I will be working on to become a Vampire. I think this could be the game that Vampire Bloodlines should've been. WHATS BETTER THAN BEING A VAMPIRE AND A BARBARIAN AT THE SAME TIME???? The fighting system reminds me of Diablo but in first person. It really "feels" like you are really there taking on these enemies! I LOVE THIS GAME AND IT HAS SET THE STANDARD FOR RPG'S! Hell, this game almost made me forget about PREY coming out!

I just got done playing one of the coolest mods I have ever played. This is a big mod and runs around 136mg. I was having this download and since it was going to take awhile I took a nap. Well it got done before I got up so they booted me off the server because I wasn't there! So I entered back in and one of the guys typed "Oh no he's back again" but needless to say I came in and did what LORD NATAS does best!! The creator of the mod goes by SPUNKY and he seems like a great guy! I won the match and he typed in "Man I am losing to my own mod:(" well SPUNKY dont worry I will give you a chance to redeem yourself sometime soon!!!

I don't know how to say this but I hated the multiplayer on Doom 3 so much that I uninstalled it! I was very dissapointed in the way it was running online but now since my new BFG is in my system everything is all good:) What I feel is really crazy is that there are more people playing Doom 3 than Quake 4? I never thought that I would see that in a million years. DeathofU and I got onto a server and there was a total of around 7 people coming in and out:) One thing about Doom 3.., if you control the Rocket Launcher you do really control the game.

XBOX Review: BLACK

Whatssup!
I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to DeathofU and LORD NATAS for bringing me into the family! Here is my first review on Black so be gentle with me ok? I feel that Black is one of the best rental games that you can rent but for buying there just wasn't enough in the game to justify the price. There is no multiplayer whatsoever, no co-op, or split screen. When you are done with the single player campaign you are really done:(

Pluses

1. Can blow up a lot of stuff, enviroments are a blast to blow up
2. plenty of ammo you can be wreckless abandon;)
3. graphics and audio are good
4. no slowdown on framerates

Minuses

1. No Multiplayer
2. A.I are ultra accurate and some of the characters remind me of Superman
3. should've had more save points in the game
4. entire game is just basically trying to kill one guy!
5. the game is a "been there done that" kinda game

I really wish that I rented this game instead of buying it! I just felt really cheated by not having any multiplayer. My favorite level on this game was the bridge part because there was plenty of guns and plenty of ammo! It was pretty much nonstop action!!

F.E.A.R. and NVIDIA FORCEWARE 84.21

Hello Fellow Nvidiots and gamers,
This year has been a difficult year for me deciding on which to upgrade first the GPU or the CPU. This has been going back and forth as much as the debate of which came first the Chicken or the Egg. Today I have found out that my decision on getting the GPU (BFG7900GTXOC) was in fact the right decision! I am now very happy with my system and will wait for the AMD FX 60 to come down to my magical price point before upgrading my CPU.

I remember when this game came out (10-18-05) and what a graphical demanding game it was at the time. As you notice that I said "WAS" not "IS":) I am running everything decked out and it is running like a true champion. In fact it is running better than when it first came out with it not all decked out. Now I am starting to wonder if it is just better to "wait" for awhile to pick up new games to give Nvidia time to optimize or for that matter the maker of the games to come up with patches? I am sure that DeathofU is laughing reading this since he knows like I am going to "wait" 6 months to play PREY!

PS3 news and how they are learning from Microsoft.

Hard Drive will be standard and included in all PS3. Sony I feel is doing this the right way. They are learning from Microsoft mistakes. Also other big news from PS3 and Sony are not going to downgrade the movies on their PS3 if you are using component in. Also PS3 games will be all on Blu-ray Media. Hope that doesn't make the cost of software go up alot.

Excited to see what happens when this console comes out finally.

Well I got my new baby in my computer and this thing is HUGE! It makes my 7800GTXOC look like a sissy. How big is it you ask? How about putting 2 of the 7800's together and now you have the same thickness! I had to take out my soundcard just to make sure I put this BFG in properly. I really have no idea how someone with a small or for that matter a medium tower is going to deal with this card. The weight of this card is enough that you could easily use two of these babies for bookends:) But you don't buy them for that do ya? Now my fellow gamers on with what this baby can do!

Doom 3 The Way It Was Meant To Be Played

My wife got home and she asked me how my new toy was and I said to her "it was ok not that big of a deal of an upgrade" and I wish that you all could've of seen her face when I said that:) I said let me show you the Doom 3 time demo with it in Ultra Quality, 1600x1200, 4xAF. I also said for her to watch the Imp create the fire ball and how the "heat effect" looks around his hand. So the demo started and she said.. " I can't see it because it is running to fast" and I said "yeah beautiful isn't it?" I will play this game again because it is just amazing to have everything decked out and this card replies to John Carmack... is this all you got??

Quake 4, Serious Sam 2, Valve Source test, benchmarks..

Quake 4 is more demanding on multiplayer than the single player experience so I was able to get on a server with around 6 people and it ran very smoothly at 1600x1200, High Quality, 2xAF. I am very happy with the performance of this for multiplayer!! And I know that people who play Quake 4 multi can really appreciate those numbers:)

Serious Sam 2 looks amazing and to have it all decked out and still run smooth as butter is one hell of a compliment! The only thing that you can't put on running an Nvidia card is HDR. If you run that then you can't put on AF and I would prefer to have no jaggies on my game:)

Valve's Video stress test everything decked out.. 89fps!!!!!

Conclusion
This is a card that is just simply amazing to say the least. I am very happy with this card. I am ready for PREY and anything else that comes out this year. The only thing I need now is my AMD 4800x2 and then I will be in gaming heaven er.. hell:)

Initial Impression of Guild Wars

Last night I started this game with a couple of my friends! Right off the bat I would like to take this time to say a big "thank you" to Azreal and Almost Human for putting up with a noob player:) This game is very pleasant to the eye and the audio is top notch. The only thing that I wish that they would've done in the game is have the mouths move when you get a cutscene because it looks really weird to see someone talking like a gimp! My friends are both at the highest level you can be until the new expansion comes out and it was really funny to see these guys wipe everything out before I even get a hit in:) They say when I hit level 20 that they will leave some for me!!

Now talking about Fu&*&*&U up a good company. Alienware is being sold to Dell and I am going to tell you my prediction. The alien is phoning home. That means a first class ticket out of this world. If you love Alienware get one soon because high quality machines like this are going to be gone after Dell gets their hands on them even if they do keep the name.

Today is a sad day indeed. I have lost my best friend who I always could've counted on to give me the best gaming experience that money could buy. Word on the street from a vendor is that he is getting a lot of resumes from Alienware employees. I feel the reason for this is because they have pride in what they do and do not want to work for a company that would never be able to "keep up with us hardcore mother fu@#ers!" Mike Dell had to buy his way into this market because Intel is always going to be AMD biatch! Over the years I have always bought Alienware but this legacy has indeed ended. I love you Alienware and will always remember the great times! If and when I buy a new computer it will be from Voodoo PC.

I was at my local Best Buy yesterday and I asked the same question I have asked since the Xbox 360 came out. Do you have any 360 and when was the last time you had some. I was shocked when he said we have alot which one you want. So it seems soon they will be on the shelves in decent quantities. After I spoke to the security guy in front I turn around and saw a young man with one. I looked at him and he did not seem excited about getting one so I stopped him to see what was going on. He spoke in a little angered voice and said I had to return the first one because it locked up in 5 min. I home this f&*** one works. I said wish you the best. Please Microsoft fix the consoles problems so I can see people smile again about console gaming.

I couldn't help but buy this card:) I am going to wait on the CPU until later this year because I want to see how low AMD prices go down since they have the new chips coming out. I know that I stated on a earlier post that I wasn't going to buy a new graphic card this year but that would be like a crackhead saying he isn't going to smoke it anymore:) I really can't wait to play some Doom 3, Quake 4, and especially PREY in ultra quality!!!! I have to give Nvidia credit for the pricing of these new cards. I got the 7900GTXOC for the same price I paid for the 7800GTXOC. The difference between these cards are the clock speeds as well as the 7900 is a 512mg card! I really feel sorry for the people who paid as much as a thousand dollars for the 7800GTX512! If anyone is looking for a 7800GTXOC for a real good price send me an e-mail and I will work out a deal of the century with ya:)

Retro Review: Chronicles Of Riddick - Escape From Butcher Bay

Hello Fellow Eyeshiners,
I bought this game when it first came out and I think that I spent $30.00 on it. At the time of this release the only thing that was on my mind was the masters finishing a title called DOOM 3. Well, even though Doom 3 was a great experience for me I would have to honestly say that Riddick makes Doom it's b**ch! Starbreeze studios graphics, gameplay, audio, presentation, is absolutely incredible for this being their first game in development. The menu is the coolest, original thing I have seen in years. Vin did a great job on this game and he plays Riddick like he did in the movies. If you like the Character Riddick you will love this game. If you are not a Riddick fan YOU WILL STILL LOVE THIS GAME!!!! Just make sure you download the patch or you will get an OpenGL error like I did:)

Pros

1. Graphics are top notch and in someways better than Doom 3
2. Riddick is a very interesting character
3. Using some of the "walkers" was incredible you really felt the girth of these machines
4. The ending was awesome
5. Turning the lights out and using eyeshine was just plain awesome
6. Melee combat was done very well..
7. Sneaking up behind someone and putting a shiv in them was awesome
8. Saving pack of smokes to unlock features... a great idea!!

Cons

1. Make sure you have the game updated or you will have an OpenGL error.

The Playstation HUB will be launched in september to offer PS3 owners same services as XBOX LIVE, such as ability to download games, demos, and online game play. Furthermore, the Playstation HUB will also embrace PSP owners by offering the same services. Sony hopes to gain significant market share by using launch of PS3 as a vehicle to heavily promote online experience.

PlayStation HUB is being described to developers as a subscriber service, suggesting a monthly charge. We understand the service is being created by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, although this is unconfirmed.
Sony boss Howard Stringer is pushing for all media content to be available for distribution over PlayStation HUB, such as music and movies, thus opening up a powerful iTunes-like distribution network for Sony. Wonder if they learned from Xbox and no credit card will be required?

It might seem odd to you why it would take me this long to knockout this game since I am a geek Sith. The answer is I know this is the last game I can play in the Star War universe until KOTOR 3:( even though I really enjoy Empire At War its just that I am to much of a noob on RTS's. On with the review shall we?

Pandemic Studios have really improved this game over the first one in a lot of ways.They promised better graphics for the PC and they have kept their promise! It was exciting to play as Lord Vader and all the Jedi. The story was excellent since it took a more thorough look on the 501st and the treachery that occured behind the Jedi's back. The A.I was better but there was still some problems with it. The biggest gripe I had with it is that you would have to "guide" everyone to the area including weapons such as the AT-ATs. I am sure this game would be a blast to play online but since you have to play on Gamespy I decided not to play the multiplayer. Overall I was very pleased with the game and the presentation of it. Hell! I finished the game with my BattleFront 2 t-shirt on:)

Pros
1. It's Star Wars duh:)
2. Audio and Graphics are excellent
3. Presentation was top notch
4. Tutorial was really cool and Noobs can pick up on the game pretty easily
5. Playing as LORD VADER was awesome
6. You "felt" like a Jedi or Sith when you were able to play as them!
7. The space battles were really cool

Cons
1. A.I. was better than the first game, but still could've been better
2. Should be able to play online without Gamespy being a spy!!!

NVIDIA BRINGS OUT THE BIG GUNS TODAY!!!

What a glorious day to be a Nvidiot. I downloaded the Forceware 84.12 drivers and what a difference it makes for Quake 4. I went into the single player game and was running the game as follows.. 1600x1200, High Quality, High effects, and 16x AF. Here are a couple of pictures of the following: G71 or should I say the 7900GTX, 7900GT and 7600. ZipZoomFly assuring us that is not a "paper launch". This is the notice to people at the announcement, notice that #2 says "no leaks to the inquirer" which is the website. Hopefully one day YOBROGAMES could make this chart!!

Namco says no way PS3 will release in spring.

Some sources of mine have said if things do not improve it could be spring 2007.

PS3 manufacturing is suppose to start mid year says Compeq who are producing the circuit boards.

Blu-Ray standard holding things up.

Pressure from us has made it that Sony will be giving PS3 info at the Game Developers Conference at the end of this month and not wait till E3. Will see?

Finally got to play the Empire At War Demo

Hello Fellow gamers,

I would be the first person to tell you that I am noob when it comes to playing Real Time Strategy games. I am a geek Jedi so I felt I would give this demo a shot. I am in no way able to be critical on this type of game because I really don't play them but this game is really fun to say the least! I really like the tutorial and it really is a necessity for a noob like myself. The presentation of the game looks top notch and I really like the cinematic camera on the battles. The graphics look really good and the audio hits the Star Wars themes like the Deathstar wasting your ass:) I will eventually pick up this game when it comes down on price and this will be the first RTS for me to have in my collection!!

Dig1tal Extremes..Have they learned from their mistakes from the game Pariah?

Hello Fellow gamers,

I have been checking out the WarPath multiplayer demo and its not the worst one I have played. Since they made so many of the Unreal Tournaments it should run quite well. But here is the main reason I am excited about the title.. I see it a Gamestop for just a twenty spot and it will have a single player mission as well! Pariah was a real big disappointment to me so I hope they can earn my respect again with this title!! They are starting the right way with the price:).
